MRI vendor Fonar has installed the first scanner that uses its stand-up MRI technology. The Indomitable unit is now operational at Washington Open MRI in Greenbelt, MD, according to the Melville, NY-based firm. Fonar received Food and Drug Administration clearance for Indomitable eight months ago.
