Aurora installs first RODEO breast MRI unit

Breast MRI technology developer Aurora Imaging Technology has completed the first clinical installation of its 1.5-tesla dedicated breast MRI system with bilateral rotating delivery of excitation off-response (RODEO) imaging technology. Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center in Knoxville, TN, received the system.

RODEO is a proprietary pulse sequence that provides fat-suppressed magnetization transfer contrast in a high-resolution MR image acquisition, according to the North Andover, MA-based vendor.
