MR contrast developer Advanced Magnetics reported fiscal 2005 second-quarter revenues of $612,000, down from the $767,000 in sales turned in during the same period a year ago.
For the quarter (end-March 31), the Cambridge, MA-based company's net loss ballooned from the second quarter of fiscal 2004, from $567,000 a year ago to $3.3 million for the most recent period.
Advanced Magnetics attributed the rising red ink to an increase in research and development expenses.
