MRI device developer Biophan Technologies said it has added 13 patent applications to its intellectual property portfolio, which now includes 127 U.S. issued or pending patents.
The new patents relate to MRI safety and imaging of implanted devices and surgical tools, as well as technologies for implantable power sources using body heat, according to the West Henrietta, NY-based vendor.
