Boston breast center ramps up Aurora MR system

The Faulkner-Sagoff Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Centre at Boston-based Faulkner Hospital has upgraded to the 1.5-tesla dedicated breast MRI system from Aurora Imaging Technology of North Andover, MA.

The Aurora system can cover both breasts, the lymph nodes, and the chest in a single exam. The scanner's fat suppression technology provides greater details of a lesion, including distance, length and width, and volume, according to Aurora.
