Multimodality vendor Siemens Medical Solutions has sold the 120th Magnetom Espree scanner, the Malvern, PA, company is reporting this week.
Espree is a 1.5-tesla system with an an ultra-short-bore design that's intended to be less claustrophobic for patients due to its 70-cm bore diameter and 125-cm system length. The scanner was introduced in July 2004.
