(Booth 8433) Imaging accessories developer Beekley of Bristol, CT, will take the RSNA stage to introduce PinPoint, a new line of fiducial skin markers for image registration on MRI scans.
Using a conical design, PinPoint markers direct probes to an area 37% smaller than other commonly used fiducial markers, according to the company. The center opening of the marker is tapered, coning down to a hole that's 1.27 mm in diameter, which limits the area the probe can touch for even greater registration accuracy, the company believes.
PinPoints are based on a new formula that will never expire or dry out, according to Beekley, while removal is easy due to the marker's PikUp tab.
