Computer-aided detection (CAD) firm iCAD announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Hitachi Medical Systems America.
Under the agreement, iCAD's SpectraLook with PrecisionPoint image analysis software for breast MRI will be available for purchase with Hitachi's Oasis 1.2-tesla and Echelon 1.5-tesla MRI systems, iCAD said.
iCAD's MRI software is designed to help radiologists distinguish potential cancers in the breast as part of the overall analysis of MRI studies, as well as streamline the planning and performance of MRI-guided percutaneous breast biopsies.
