Preclinical MRI technology developer Aspect Imaging has named Peter Bendel, PhD, as chief technology officer and Eran Toledo, PhD, as vice president of research and development.
Bendel comes to Aspect from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, where he served as senior staff scientist and director of nuclear MR and MRI facilities. In his new role, Bendel will lead Aspect's platform technology initiatives and will continue to create new technology opportunities, according to the vendor.
Toledo, who most recently served as vice president of R&D at cardiology medical device company BSP, will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of Aspect's engineering team. Current vice president of research and development Oded Sherman is shifting into the newly created position of vice president of advanced industrial applications.
