The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) announced that its MRI Institute has reached its 10-year anniversary.
Supported by the pharmaceutical companies EMD Serono and Pfizer since 2002, the MRI Institute helps people who have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and lack health insurance coverage to receive a MRI scan. The program has helped more than 7,500 individuals who have MS and could not otherwise afford an MRI to monitor their condition, according to MSAA.
