Toshiba America Medical Systems announced it is partnering with cancer institute Shands at the University of Florida and Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California to conduct research in functional MRI (fMRI).
Toshiba made the announcement in conjunction with the start of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) annual meeting, being held in Salt Lake City from April 20 to 26. The company's Vantage Titan 3-tesla MRI scanner, being showcased at the meeting, will be used in the research collaboration.
