Toshiba America Medical Systems has rolled out new software for its MRI systems.
A new M-Power software version has been released for the Vantage Titan 1.5-tesla MR scanner, along with a new software version for the 3-tesla Vantage Titan. The new versions come with enhanced automated tools at no charge to existing Titan customers with previous M-Power software versions that have a current service contract with Toshiba, the company said.
The new M-Power includes PathFinder, a set of automated tools to streamline exams and workflow efficiencies, including DirectPAS, EasyTech, and InScan, Toshiba said. It also has the following:
- 3D arterial spin labeling (ASL), a noncontrast suite with 3D ASL whole-brain perfusion
- DelayTracker, which can automatically delay times for noncontrast fresh-blood imaging from renal to feet vessels
- 3D spectroscopy (optional), which improves performance of 3D spectroscopy, including during prostate imaging
- 3D gradient distortion correction that offers 3D correction of image distortions, which is only available for the Titan 3-tesla MR system
