Biomedical device company Biotronik has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for its Solia S ProMRI pacing lead.
The device allows patients with a pacemaker, implantable defibrillator, cardiac monitor, or cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator to receive an MR scan, Biotronik said. It comes in 45-cm, 53-cm, and 60-cm lengths, according to the firm.
