Swedish image analysis software developer AMRA Medical has received licensing and is permitted to distribute its Muscle Assessment Score (MAsS) scan in Canada.
MAsS uses a neck-to-knee MRI scan to produce a patient-specific report that contains the muscle assessment score, anatomic and color-coded images, and precise body composition measurements with contextual insights. The scan can be used to assess muscles before and after organ transplant to gain insights into patient health, according to the firm.
