MRI simulation software developer ScanLabMR is releasing its UltraLab software feature to help students master important MRI concepts and improve the quality of MRI education.
UltraLab combines two previously separated concepts, image contrast, and spatial resolution into one interface. It also brings together radiofrequency and scan time elements within gradient echo, spin echo, and fast spin-echo pulse sequences.
UltraLab users can select their preferred MRI vendor, which will prompt the interface to assume the parameter terminology and behavior specific to that vendor. Users can also choose a desired voxel size and field strength, so images can be generated based on the chosen spatial resolution and T1 recovery time differences of their field strength selection.
