Koelis has partnered with DeepHealth to use the former's prostate fusion MRI software on the latter's Trinity 3D ultrasound platform.
The partnership streamlines the prostate MRI reading process and enables 3D targeted fusion biopsy in prostate cancer, according to Koelis. Urologists and radiologists will be able to collaborate on workflow along the prostate cancer clinical pathway.
The aim is to provide access to PACS/cloud connectivity and automated prostate MRI segmentation to be imported into the Trinity platform. The system will use the imaging data to create a 3D patient-specific prostate map to guide both diagnostic and treatment procedures, Koelis said.
