Polarean Imaging has been issued a patent in China for its Xenon MRI platform to visualize global and regional pulmonary gas exchange and microvascular blood flow in real-time.
Patent number ZL201980047729.5 will position Polarean for a potential future entry into the Chinese market and to tackle the global burden of lung disease, it said.
The Xenon MRI platform offers clinicians insights into complex lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension.
