Polarean Imaging’s 3T chest coil passes Philips compatibility testing

Commercial-stage lung MRI medical device developer Polarean Imaging's Xenoview 3-tesla chest coil has successfully completed compatibility testing conducted by Philips for use with Philips’ latest 3-tesla MRI platforms.

The chest coil, cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 2024, enables healthcare providers to seamlessly adopt advanced functional lung ventilation imaging. Starting in early 2026, the Xenoview may be integrated with Philips’ MR 7700 and Ingenia Elition X. It will enable these MRI systems to incorporate noninvasive quantitative assessments of lung function as part of routine care and research.
