Computer visualization developer Anatom-e of Houston will debut its Anatom-e XRT workstation at this year's RSNA show in Chicago.
Anatom-e XRT facilitates and standardizes intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) contouring. It allows a user to customize annotated 2D and 3D axial images of the head and neck, pelvis, or abdomen into a storehouse of "A-maps," which can then be overlaid onto a patient's clinical CT, MR, or PET scans, the company said.
The technology also lends itself to overlays that improve PET/CT interpretations, according to Anatom-e. Anatom-e XRT is currently available.
