The American College of Radiology's Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG) has received a $60.5 million six-year extension in funding from the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
The award will sustain the Philadelphia-based group's cancer research efforts until 2014 for 37 clinical trials, which are open to patient enrollment at more than 300 major research institutions in the U.S., Canada, and internationally.
