Radiation therapy firm TomoTherapy of Madison, WI, has added another product to its lineup with the launch of its TomoHD treatment system.
TomoHD bundles technologies previously available only as options for its TomoTherapy Hi-Art system, including TomoHelical and TomoDirect. It includes touchscreen positioning control panels which allow for high-fidelity positioning adjustments of 0.1 mm in X, Y, and Z directions, TomoTherapy said.
TomoTherapy plans to introduce TomoHD at the upcoming American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) meeting in Chicago.
