Varian adds Qatar install

Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems has installed its RapidArc treatment technology at Al Amal Hospital in Doha, Qatar.

The institution has treated nine brain cancer, prostate cancer, and head and neck cancer patients with RapidArc since early May, according to the Palo Alto, CA-based vendor.
