Swedish oncology firm Elekta of Stockholm has installed its volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) enhanced with Monaco planning software at OCA Hospital in Monterrey, Mexico.
The facility is the first medical center in Latin America to install Elekta Synergy, a treatment system designed to visualize a tumor and structures with the patient in the treatment position at the time of treatment, according to Elekta.
