The American College of Radiology (ACR) has appointed Dr. Gail Darling of Toronto General Hospital as thoracic surgery co-chair of the Lung Cancer Committee for the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG).
A professor of thoracic surgery and the Kress Family Chair in esophageal cancer at the University of Toronto, Darling will work with committee chair Dr. Jeffrey Bradley of Washington University and provide direction regarding the surgical components of RTOG lung cancer clinical trials. She will also serve as a member of the RTOG Surgical Oncology Committee.
