Philips Healthcare has received an order to install its Pinnacle3 SmartEnterprise radiation treatment planning system at several campuses of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
With the system, clinicians can preserve and transfer treatment session information using smart cards, which later can be inserted into any thin-client device to resume radiation treatment.
Users also can prepare a case on one thin-client device and review it on another, according to Philips.
