RaySearch wins Korean order for RayStation

Radiation therapy firm RaySearch Laboratories has received an order for its RayStation treatment planning system from Hallym University Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea.

In addition to the RayStation system, the order also included an integrated package of image processing tools, including automated organ segmentation and image fusion.

Hallym University Medical Center consists of six general hospitals with a total of 3,200 patient beds. The RayStation treatment planning system will initially be used at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital and Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital for conventional 3D conformal radiation therapy, intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), and volumetric-modulated arc therapy (VMAT).
