The hurricane threatening the East Coast has forced the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) to close its meeting at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 29, and to clear out the convention hall at Boston Convention Center.
In a bulletin posted on its website, ASTRO said that it had been notified that it must discontinue shuttle service at 2 p.m. today and vacate the convention center. The last sessions will end at 12:30 p.m. and the exhibit hall will close at 1 p.m.
The bulletin stated that the meeting will continue as scheduled on Tuesday, but schedule notifications will be posted to the society's website.
