Radiation therapy center operator Vantage Oncology said it has acquired Radiation Oncology Services of America (ROSA).
ROSA owns and operates 17 radiation oncology centers in five states: Georgia, Alabama, Texas, New Jersey, and Florida. Vantage said the acquisition offers it a chance to scale up and strengthen its U.S. network. With the acquisition of ROSA, Vantage's network of 63 centers in 15 states will provide oncology services to approximately 1,450 patients per day.
Vantage acquired ROSA from U.S. Renal Care, which last week acquired ROSA's parent firm, Ambulatory Services of America, a large provider of dialysis and other services.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
