Proton beam therapy technology developer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for its Compact Gantry Beam Line (CGBL).
The compact gantry will be featured on IBA's ProteusOne single-room proton therapy system, according to the vendor. In addition to selling two ProteusOne systems in Japan, IBA has sold systems to clients in Shreveport, LA; Nice, France; and Taiwan.
