Radiation oncology firm Accuray said the first TomoTherapy system has been installed at Fundación de Cáncer de Mama (FUCAM) in Mexico City.
The unit is the first TomoTheapy system in Latin America to be dedicated only to breast cancer treatment, according to the vendor.
