Toshiba Medical Systems will become the distributor in Japan for the ProteusOne proton therapy room from Ion Beam Applications (IBA)
In return, IBA will become the agent for Toshiba's carbon therapy solutions outside Japan. The two companies also will collaborate on activities such as customer education for ProteusOne and Toshiba's carbon therapy products.
The collaboration also will allow both companies to leverage their operation and maintenance services.
