Radiotherapy positioning technology developer Qfix said that it has validated a special version of its kVue One couch top for use with proton therapy systems from Mevion Medical Systems.
The kVue One, when combined with a Mevion S250 proton therapy system, improves patient positioning and immobilization for ideal beam transmission, according to the companies. The proton couch top is backward compatible with other kVue inserts and is available in most major markets around the world, Qfix said.
