Radiation therapy software developer RaySearch plans to highlight upgrades to its RayStation treatment planning system and its RayCare oncology information system at the upcoming American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) annual meeting in Chicago.
The company will unveil RayStation 9A, which includes increased support for treatment machines with dual-layer multileaf collimator and nonrotating jaws. It also includes support for multicriteria optimization for volumetric-modulated arc therapy (VMAT) in combination with Varian machines.
In addition, RaySearch will highlight RayCare 3A, which now supports modular patient workflows and RaySearch's RayCare Flow software that automates task management for all steps in the treatment planning workflow, the company said.
