Radiation therapy software developer RaySearch has received an order for its RayStation treatment planning software from the Shanghai Proton and Heavy Ion Center (SPHIC) in China.
RaySearch will complete a full RayStation installation at SPHIC, including modules for proton and carbon ion pencil-beam scanning with personalized treatment planning for a wide range of machines. Researchers at the center will provide technical support and data for RayStation's upcoming regulatory submission process in China, which is slated to begin in 2020, the groups said.
The total order is valued at 1.5 million euros ($1.7 million U.S.).
