Radiation therapy software developer RaySearch has secured a contract with Queensland's Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in Herston, Australia, for its RayStation treatment planning system.
The hospital employs more than 8,000 staff, according to the firm. RayStation will help the hospital use its radiation treatment systems from Varian Medical Systems most efficiently, RaySearch said.
The deal was facilitated by RaySearch's regional distributor, alphaXRT.
