Proton therapy developer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) has appointed two nonexecutive directors to its board of directors and audit committee.
Richard Hausmann, PhD, and Christine Dubus will be members of the board of directors, with Dubus chairing IBA's audit committee and Hausmann becoming a member of the board.
Hausmann has more than 30 years of experience in the medical technology industry, having most recently served as president and CEO of Elekta before leaving the company in June 2020. He has also held executive positions with GE Healthcare and Siemens Healthineers.
Dubus has more than 30 years of financial experience and serves as executive director at CIC Conseil, Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale's mergers and acquisition subsidiary.
In other news, IBA announced that Eric de Lamotte, the company's chief financial officer, passed away last week. He was also a former member of the board of directors and audit committee.
