Radiation therapy developer ViewRay announced that the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS) is expanding to include advanced radiation therapy services through the MRIdian MRI-guided radiation system at the Lieutenant Colonel Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center.
The system will allow the VA Ann Arbor Cancer Program to offer advanced MRI-guided radiation therapy technology to veterans seeking personalized treatment.
VAAAHS provides healthcare services to veterans at seven locations throughout southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio and is one of the 13 VA health systems recognized as a center for excellence for prostate cancer within the VA's larger precision oncology program.
The Lieutenant Colonel Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center joins the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center in offering treatment using MRIdian MRI-guided radiation therapy.
