RaySearch Laboratories posts increased revenues in Q3

Swedish radiation therapy company RaySearch Laboratories has posted third-quarter and nine-month revenue increases (end-September 30).

Net sales for the quarter were 252.9 million Swedish krona ($24 million U.S.), compared with 210.8 million krona ($20 million) last year. Net sales for the nine-month period were 722.5 million krona ($68.6 million), compared with 579.3 million krona ($55 million) in 2022.

For the quarter, profit after tax was 21.6 million krona ($2 million); for the nine months, the company reported profit after tax of 50 million krona ($4.8 million), up from 9.6 million krona ($911,440) for the same period last year. 

RaySearch highlighted a number of events that occurred in the third quarter, including University Medical Center Groningen in the Netherlands purchasing Micro-RayStation for preclinical research; RayCare in clinical use with CyberKnife at Lausanne University Hospital in Switzerland; and expansion of a partnership and new research agreement between RaySearch and MedAustron.
