Two radiation oncologists have made the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Academy's 2024 fellows class list.
The two radiation oncologists include the following:
- Laura D. Attardi, PhD, is the Catherine and Howard Avery professor of the school of medicine, professor of genetics, and professor of radiation oncology at Stanford University in California.
- Silvia C. Formenti, MD, is chair of the department of radiation oncology; Sandra and Edward Meyer professor of cancer research; and professor of radiation oncology and of medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City.
The AACR Academy "recognizes and honors distinguished scientists whose scientific contributions have propelled significant innovation and progress against cancer," the association said.
