Radformation secures clearance from four regulatory bodies

Radiation oncology automation firm Radformation has secured regulatory clearances for its radiotherapy automation software from four regulatory bodies around the world.

These include the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia; the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) in Brazil; Health Canada; and the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Included in these clearances is AutoContour, Radformation’s AI-driven auto-segmentation and contouring software designed to accelerate the treatment planning process. The Thai FDA clearance applies to AutoContour and EZFluence.

Additionally, Radformation highlighted that early Brazilian adopters of AutoContour and ClearCheck, the company's automated secondary plan check software, include Liga Catarinense de Combate ao Câncer - Radioterapia São Sebastião and Real Hospital Português de Beneficência.
