Acuson begins Cypress shipments

Ultrasound vendor Acuson has begun North American shipments of its Cypress miniaturized echocardiography scanner. Weighing less than 20 pounds, Cypress is equipped for echocardiography applications, including integrated stress echo studies, according to the Mountain View, CA-based firm. Acuson made the announcement at the American Society of Echocardiography meeting, being held this week in Chicago.
