Handheld ultrasound developer SonoSite reported revenues of $9 million in its second quarter, a 12.5% gain compared with the $8 million in revenues booked in its 2000 first quarter. The Bothell, WA-based firm did not have any revenues in the second quarter in 1999, as product shipments began in the third quarter of last year. SonoSite had a net loss of $2.9 million, compared with a net loss of $3.3 million in the first quarter of this year.
