The ultrasound group of Siemens Medical Systems has received the largest U.S. order in its history, booking a sale of 20 Sonoline Elegra scanners to Providence Health System.
Providence will install the units at its three Portland, OR, area hospitals (Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Providence Portland Medical Center, and Providence Milwaukee Hospital) as well as other facilities in its four-state region, according to Siemens Ultrasound based in Issaquah, WA.
