GE migrates technology to Logiq 500

GE Medical Systems has brought several ultrasound technologies first available on its premier Logiq 700 system to its 500 Pro series system. Customers of the Waukesha, WI-based vendor’s Logiq 500 systems can now use GE’s Automatic Optimization technology in both spectral Doppler and B-mode scanning. Automatic Optimization improves the scanner's image quality with a touch of a button, according to the firm.

In addition, Logiq 500 can now accommodate the firm’s new high-resolution i12L transducer. The transducer can be used in applications such as vascular surgery, interventional procedures, and breast and musculoskeletal examinations, according to GE.
