U.S. Medical expands into ultrasound via Shantou deal

Medical equipment distributor U.S. Medical has added ultrasound equipment to its product portfolio, thanks to a partnership with Chinese ultrasound developer Shantou Institute of Ultrasonic Instruments. Denver-based U.S. Medical will be Shantou’s U.S. distributor. Shantou has developed a full line of ultrasound systems, ranging from low-end portable units to advanced color-flow systems, according to U.S. Medical.
