Handheld ultrasound developer SonoSite has promoted Jens Quistgaard to chief product and marketing officer and Ronald Dickson to vice president, sales, Americas, a region that includes the U.S., Latin America, and Canada.

Quistgaard has been with the Bothell, WA-based firm since its spin-off from ATL Ultrasound in April 1998. Previously, Quistgaard served as executive director of product generation for ATL’s Handheld Systems Business Group.

Dickson joined SonoSite in May 1999 as director of the West Coast sales region, and was employed at ATL from 1984 to 1999.
