Quistgaard to leave SonoSite

SonoSite chief product and strategy officer Jens Quistgaard will be leaving the firm to become president and CEO of LipoSonix, a developer of medical devices for cosmetic surgery applications.

Quistgaard's departure is effective August 5. The Bothell, WA-based vendor has named vice president of engineering Blake Little as senior engineering officer.
