Ultrasound technology developer Sensant has received an order from Italian ultrasound vendor Esaote for its silicon ultrasound probes.
The award is the first commercial order for Sensant's silicon ultrasound technology, according to the San Leandro, CA-based vendor. Esaote has ordered the firm's newly developed silicon ultrasound array transducer, which is due out in 2006.
