Ultrasound contrast developer Imcor Pharmaceutical of San Diego has received a U.S. patent for a method of forming stabilized microbubbles using perfluorocarbons and other gases in various membrane-forming materials.
The firm said it has more than 30 patents in the U.S. and in other countries that cover ultrasound contrast agents and harmonic imaging.
