Siemens Medical Solutions this week started commercial shipments of its all-digital Sonoline G40 ultrasound system.
The portable unit was unveiled in March and features color Doppler capabilities, a built-in CD read/write drive, the vendor's integrated DIMAQ-IP workstation, and embedded DICOM connectivity, according to the Malvern, PA-based Siemens.
Siemens is showcasing the unit at this week's American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) conference in San Francisco.
